About The Role

Practice Plus Group is a trusted provider of urgent and out-of-hours healthcare services across the UK, dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care beyond standard clinic hours. We believe in supporting our clinical teams with essential roles that help ensure patients receive timely and effective care in their homes.

This is a Bank role that offers flexibility to pick and choose your shifts, however please expect to work evenings and weekends as this service operates Out of Hours. Ideally you will be available to work at short notice covering sickness and cancellations at times, as well as being available to work bank holidays at times too.

The areas that you would be covering are Exeter, Honiton and Tiverton.

• Driving clinicians safely to and from patient homes.
• Ensuring the vehicles are clean and safe to drive.
• Ensuring any vehicle maintenance issues are reported when required.
• Performing courtesy calls to patients to confirm arrival time and patient data.
• Communicating effectively with clinicians, patients, and the wider Out of Hours team.
• Assisting and supporting the clinicians during their visits when required.
• Supporting with administrative and reception duties if needed.

• Previous driving experience.
• A clean driving record with a valid UK drivers licence.
• Good map reading skills with knowledge of the local area.
• Available to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays. As well flexibility to cover sickness or cancellations.
• Strong communication skills and professionalism.
