An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled, experienced Physiotherapist to join the Physiotherapy Team as part of a band 6 Medical / Respiratory rotation at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. We have a permanent full‑time position available (37.5 hours/week).
These rotational positions are responsible for providing leadership & clinical expertise on a 12‑month rotational basis. We currently have rotations available on ICU, Respiratory Medicine & HDU, Acute & General Medicine wards and Cystic Fibrosis. This role is in development and we hope to offer a further rotation on Health for Older People.

The post‑holder will assess and treat patients with complex respiratory conditions including acute admissions and chronic and life‑limiting cases. Clinical responsibilities include gathering comprehensive baseline data as part of the assessment process; developing and implementing patient‑specific plans; management of acute respiratory conditions and progressive rehabilitation. There will be an expectation to liaise with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective discharge or transfer to ongoing services within the patient pathway as appropriate.
The position carries a responsibility to support overnight on‑call, weekend and bank holiday working on a rota basis.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week. 08:15‑16:30 Mon‑Fri (Weekends, On‑cals and Bank Holidays on a rota basis)
