Lead Support Worker (Support Coordinator)

Exeter, Devon

1 x Permanent and 1 x 12 months secondment, full time (x 37.5 hpw)

On 4 week rolling rota, including evenings and weekends.

Pay £13.21 per hour (£25,838 per annum)

Typical Day as a Lead Support Worker (Support Coordinator)
  • Create support plans with customers and coordinate a small team
  • Assist customers with daily activities (meal prep, shopping, budgeting, etc.), promoting independent living skills
  • Conduct risk assessments, support planning, goal setting, and reviews
  • Enjoy meaningful interactions with customers and colleagues

You Bring
  • Passion for supporting customers and attention to detail
  • Experience in creating person-centred support plans and guiding colleagues
  • Ability to coordinate and assess customer referrals
  • Ability to work independently, calm under pressure, and resilient
  • Flexible, caring, and effective teamwork skills
  • Strong communication skills
