Devon Partnership NHS Trust is excited to announce a new opportunity within our newly created Community Eating Disorders Intensive Home Treatment Team (IHTT), based at Wonford House in Exeter.

This is a unique and impactful position for a Business Support Administrator who is ready to play a pivotal role in the development of this new team.

Main duties of the job

As the Business Support Administrator, you will be an integral part of the IHTT team, providing effective and efficient clerical and administrative support to the IHTT Consultant, medical staff, and the wider multidisciplinary team where applicable. Key duties may include;

Patient Contact:
Communicating with patients, scheduling appointments, and managing other contact-related tasks to ensure the service runs efficiently.

Accurate Record-Keeping:
Recording information on the Trust's patient record system (Systm One), ensuring all patient data is up-to-date and accurate.

Diary Management & Room Bookings:
Managing the diaries of medical staff, arranging appointments, meetings, and booking appropriate rooms for clinical activities.

This role is ideal for someone who:

Has experience in administrative support and is looking to make a positive difference to patient care.

Has strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Enjoys working in a team environment and is adaptable to the changing needs of a healthcare setting.

Is passionate about supporting mental health services and contributing to the wellbeing of patients with eating disorders.
