Role OverviewThe Registered Care Manager will oversee two supported living flats, each housing four residents. You’ll lead a team including a Deputy Manager, Team Leaders, and Support Workers, ensuring high‑quality, person‑centred care. The role involves coaching staff, maintaining strong relationships with families and professionals, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily operations across two supported living flats
- Lead and develop a large staff team
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards and health and social care legislation
- Promote independence and community participation for residents
- Maintain positive relationships with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Support individuals in achieving personal goals and aspirations
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management
- Participate in regular management meetings and service development
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (minimum)
- Willingness to undertake Level 5 qualification
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of CQC regulations and person‑centred support
- Experience in residential or supported living services
- Understanding of REACH standards (or willingness to learn)
- Right to work in the UK
- Experience leading teams through change
- Familiarity with sensory impairments and physical disabilities
