Full time – 48 hours per week – Shift type:
Nights. Salary: £13.52 per hour. Pension provided. Onsite parking, paid DBS and uniform included. 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full‑time contract). Our newly built care home is based in the charming suburb of Pinhoe, Exeter, offering exceptional standards of nursing, residential, dementia and respite care for 67 residents.

- Lead and coordinate the care team – ensuring smooth operation and a positive atmosphere.
- Support residents with dressing, bathing, toileting and mobility, prioritising dignity and independence.
- Administer medication, manage ordering, and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, healthcare professionals and team members.
- Foster team ethos, respect diversity and maintain a supportive working environment.
- Welcome visitors and give prospective residents and families a tour of the home.
- Respond promptly to emergency call bells and provide or call for assistance as needed. ანგ large
- Write and update care plans, risk assessments and case notes.
- Engage in staff meetings, training and e‑learning to develop professionally.
- Follow Health & Safety policies, including COSHH, and report concerns.

- Qualifications:
SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or actively working towards Level
3). - Medication training:
Practical Medication Administration with competency. - Leadership skills:
Ability to motivate, delegate and develop a team while maintaining support. - Compassionate nature:
