We are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual to join our Healthcare for Older People & Stroke Medicine team as a Rota Coordinator based at William Wright House, RDU Hospital Wonford site on a 9 month Fixed Term Contract.

You will need to be able to communicate with all levels of staff including your peers within the admin team, management and also the clinical team effectively. The successful candidate will need the ability to work independently and have excellent problem solving skills to ensure that the service is adequately covered.

The Rota Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring safe and effective staffing within the HfOP/Stroke department. The post holder is responsible for coordinating medical rotas, managing leave and on-call cover, and acting as a central point of contact for clinicians, managers, and service users. The role supports service continuity, compliance with working time regulations, and high-quality patient care.

Working Pattern: 30 hours per week, Monday - Friday

This is an internal vacancy for Royal Devon employees, therefore Bank workers are currently not eligible to apply for this vacancy.

This is a fixed term contract until 15/11/2026. For current NHS employees this post could be a secondment opportunity.
