FORCE Support and Information Nurse

Force is a Devon charity that offers practical, emotional and psychological support to local people affected by cancer. As a member of the Information team, the Support and Information Nurse will provide warm, personalised support to service users in the centre, through face‑to‑face conversations, helpline calls and group programmes.
Main duties- Provide individual outreach and counselling at the centre.
- Answer calls to the support helpline.
- Deliver group support programmes, e.g. Moving Forward After Treatment.
- Coordinate with clinical colleagues and local mental‑health teams.
- Raise awareness of the FORCE peer support and external services.
- Review and update printed and online information.
22.5 hours per week (approximately 10:30–16:30, four days per week).
