Job Description & Responsibilities

We offer full-time and part-time roles with flexibility to suit you.

As a Community Carer in this role you will be supporting a client with mental health needs (including

OCD andautism) enabling then toaccess the community and enrichment activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with daily living tasks to help maintain dignity and independence
  • Providing personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting, with sensitivity and respect
  • Preparing meals and supporting with medication, ensuring clients’ health and well-being
  • Accompanying clients to appointments, shops, and social outings to keep them active and engaged
  • Offering companionship and emotional support, making a positive difference every day

  • Starting pay: £12.82 - £13.03 per hour
  • Plus: Holiday pay, sick pay, pension contributions, and mileage at 30p per mile

Requirements

  • You will have previous experience within care capacity, whether this be community, care home, hospital or similar or perhaps caring for a family member.
  • You must be a driver with a valid driving licence, ideally with access to a car, though pool cars are available
  • Have a calm, polite and caring nature.
  • Genuine interest in supporting vulnerable adults and wanting to make a difference
  • Be able to work shifts
