Job Summary

Financial Accountant role at Islet Systems. Fixed term, full time secondment ending 31 May 2027. Join our finance team as a highly motivated, enthusiastic and flexible professional to contribute to the performance of our wider team.

• CCAB/CIMA qualification
• Full understanding of the principles of accounting and accounting standards
• Specialist knowledge or and ability to advise both financial and non-financial colleagues on impact of changes to reporting standards
• Substantial experience of working in an accountancy role to include experience of staff management
• Good organisational skills and a logical approach to problem solving
• Ability to communicate with and relate to a wide range of people throughout the organisation
• Excellent presentation skills both verbal and written

• Knowledge of and ability to apply and advise others of Trust/NHS financial and other regulations and procedures
• Educated to degree level
• Prince2 Training
