We are currently working with a forward‑thinking civil and structural engineering consultancy based in Exeter who are looking to grow their team with the addition of an experienced Civil Engineer.

This business is proud of its strong client relationships, diverse project portfolio, and collaborative work environment and, as it continues to grow, it is looking for a talented and motivated engineer to join its dynamic team. The role involves working on a wide range of infrastructure, drainage and development projects from initial concept through to construction.

• Design and delivery of civil engineering solutions for residential, commercial, and public sector projects
• Preparation of drainage strategies, highway designs, and earthworks modelling
• Production of drawings, reports, and calculations using industry‑standard software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microdrainage)
• Liaison with clients, local authorities, and design team members
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., SuDS, S104, S38, S278)

Ideally degree qualified with previous consultancy experience. The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of UK design standards and approval processes along with experience with drainage and highways design software.
