Graduate Site Engineer

Abatec is assisting their client, a leading marine and civil engineering contractor, in recruiting ambitious graduates to support the delivery of projects that protect coastlines, maintain vital infrastructure, and keep ports and harbours operational.

Working across coastal and inland environments, the company delivers schemes including shoreline protection, quay and piling works, dredging operations, flood defence projects, and harbour improvements.

Combining the capability to deliver major infrastructure works with a close-knit culture, this is an organisation where graduates gain real responsibility and can make a meaningful contribution from day one.

As Graduate Site Engineer you will:

* Assist with setting out and surveying activities

* Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications

* Support quality assurance and site documentation

* Work collaboratively with site teams to deliver safe and efficient works

* Contribute to projects across the UK, including coastal and marine environments

Our client requires a Graduate Site Engineer with:

* Degree in Civil & Coastal Engineering or a related subject

* Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points)

* A positive, proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team

* A desire to develop existing skills and acquire new technical competences

* Good written and oral communication skills

Salary/Benefits:

 * £27,000 - £35,000

* Paid overtime with enhanced weekend rates

* Accommodation and generous subsistence when working away

* Company vehicle or car allowance with mileage reimbursement
