Associate Transport Planner

We are working with a well-established consultancy that are now looking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Principal Consultant to play a key role in the regional growth

This opportunity would suit candidates with 5 - 10 years' experience in transport development planning, gained either within a consultancy environment or a local authority setting, and who are keen to be involved in continuing to shape a regional presence.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• A strong understanding of transport planning principles
• Excellent presentation and technical report-writing skills
• The ability to manage their own workload and meet project deadlines
• Experience across a variety of projects, including commercial, retail, and leisure schemes
• The capability to project manage small to medium-sized projects

Additional responsibilities and scope:

• Supporting business development activity and building strong client relationships, particularly within the South West region
• Assisting with negotiations and attending meetings with Highway Authorities
• Preparing fee proposals for new projects and managing project budgets

This role offers the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of development-related transport projects, varying in scale and complexity, while also contributing to the establishment and growth of the Exeter and Bristol offices
