This opportunity would suit candidates with 5 - 10 years' experience in transport development planning, gained either within a consultancy environment or a local authority setting, and who are keen to be involved in continuing to shape a regional presence.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
A strong understanding of transport planning principles
Excellent presentation and technical report-writing skills
The ability to manage their own workload and meet project deadlines
Experience across a variety of projects, including commercial, retail, and leisure schemes
The capability to project manage small to medium-sized projects Additional responsibilities and scope:
Supporting business development activity and building strong client relationships, particularly within the South West region
Assisting with negotiations and attending meetings with Highway Authorities
Preparing fee proposals for new projects and managing project budgets
This role offers the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of development-related transport projects, varying in scale and complexity, while also contributing to the establishment and growth of the Exeter and Bristol offices
