Structural Technician

Position: Structural Technician (Permanent)
Build Maintain Recruit Limited is looking for an experienced Structural Revit Technician to join a growing design and detailing team. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Revit family creation, as much of our work involves developing bespoke elements to meet unique project requirements. An ability to carry out RC detailing would be highly advantageous.
You’ll be working on a diverse range of structural projects, including reinforced concrete structures, precast and cast-in-situ elements, and other complex builds that demand precision and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
Produce high-quality Revit models and drawings for structural projects.
Develop bespoke Revit families to support unique project requirements.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to deliver coordinated designs.
Contribute to the production of reinforcement detailing (RC detailing) where required.
Maintain drawing standards, templates, and protocols across projects.
Assist in implementing BIM processes and workflows for efficiency and accuracy. Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience as a Revit Technician in a structural or civil engineering environment.
Strong capability in family creation within Revit.
Knowledge of reinforced concrete detailing (preferred but not essential).
Familiarity with both precast and in-situ concrete construction methods.
Ability to read and interpret structural engineering drawings and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail, with strong problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. What on Offer
