Saltash, Cornwall, South West or Harlow, Essex, East Anglia

HA Acoustics is a dynamic consultancy offering a wide range of environmental, architectural and building acoustic services. Our work includes:

• Noise impact assessments for planning applications
• Architectural acoustics and mechanical design
• Noise modelling and vibration assessments
• UKAS‑accredited sound insulation testing
• Noise at work assessments and investigative noise surveys.

We're expanding our team and looking for a motivated and experienced acoustic consultant to join us in either our South West, Cornwall or East Anglia, Harlow, Essex offices.

About the Role

This is a varied and rewarding position where you'll:

• Deliver a wide variety of acoustic projects
• Manage your time effectively to meet deadlines
• Apply your knowledge of British Standards
• Attend site visits, process data, and write reports
• Contribute to the growth and development of the business

You’ll be supported by our established teams and have opportunities to further develop your career in acoustics.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Significant experience in the acoustic consultancy sector
• Degree in acoustics or a related discipline, or IOA Diploma
• Strong technical documentation and project delivery skills

Key Responsibilities

• Apply UK noise policy, regulations, and standards
• Conduct data analysis, report writing, and technical reviews
• Manage projects and advise clients
• Build and maintain client relationships
• Flexibility to travel and conduct surveys outside standard hours
