The Role

Based on site within the operations team, you ll take responsibility for one of three major sections of work on this high-profile scheme. As Senior Engineer, you ll play a hands-on leadership role, supporting delivery while mentoring and guiding junior engineers on site.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading engineering delivery across your section of works
• Managing and supporting junior engineers
• Management of specialist subcontractors
• Client meetings
• Coordinating site activities to ensure programme, quality and safety targets are achieved
• Checking and drafting RAMS
• Commercial liaison with QS teams
• Working closely with site management and technical teams
• Contributing to problem-solving and technical decision-making on complex works

About You

We re seeking a Senior Engineer who thrives in technically demanding environments and enjoys responsibility:

• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar engineering role as senior or section engineer
• Experience working on large Civil Engineering projects with complex RC structures essential
• Marine experience desirable
• Experience in a nuclear or highly regulated environment is advantageous but not essential
• Strong understanding of quality-driven delivery and engineering best practice
• Confident communicator, able to influence teams on site
• Educated to HNC / HND level (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
• Able to achieve SC Security Clearance
