Learning & Development Coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning & Development Coordinator to enhance our People Services team based at our Service Headquarters in Exeter
. This role is available on a permanent contract working 37 hours per week. In return you will receive a competitive salary of £42,839 rising on an annual basis to £46,142 (gross) per annum.

What You'll Do
  • Support the development and delivery of our People and Organisational Development Roadmap
  • Identify training needs and help design initiatives that support our line managers to effectively lead their teams
  • Coordinate and implement learning and development programs that support the growth of our people in non-operational skills
  • Identify training needs and help design initiatives that drive performance and skill development across all levels
  • Liaise with our Academy teams to support training logistics, ensuring smooth delivery of learning opportunities
  • Work closely with department leaders to ensure training aligns with both individual and organisational goals
  • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes to ensure continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
  • Strong experience in learning & development including coordination and delivery of training frameworks
  • A deep understanding of andragogy principles and how to apply them in a professional environment
  • Experience in bringing Equality, Diversity and Inclusion principles into all learning opportunities
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Fantastic communication skills and the ability to engage people at all levels
  • Ability to work collaboratively and engage stakeholders across the organisation

Essential Criteria for Application
  • Experience of creating and implementing a development pathway for every level in an Organisation, working within National collaborative frameworks.
  • Reviewing and evaluating the effectiveness of existing leadership pathway and qualifications and setting improvement objectives.
  • Working collaboratively with key stakeholders to develop tailored skill specific career pathways for a blend of staff that meet leadership vision and frameworks, whilst supporting both pre and post role development.
  • Designing and delivering specific content to meet requirements of learning pathway frameworks aligning to local and National.
