A respected and inclusive school in Exeter is seeking a committed and enthusiastic SEN Learning Support Assistant to join their dedicated support team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting students with additional needs and wants to play a meaningful role in their academic, social, and emotional development.

• Providing 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual student needs
• Assisting in the development and delivery of personalised learning plans
• Adapting classroom materials and activities to support accessibility
• Encouraging confidence, independence, and positive behaviour
• Monitoring and recording student progress
• Communicating effectively with teachers and parents to support consistent learning
• Helping maintain a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment

You’ll be a consistent and encouraging presence, helping students overcome barriers and build self-belief.

• Has experience supporting children or young people with SEN (desirable)
• Holds a relevant qualification in education or childcare (desirable)
• Demonstrates patience, empathy, and understanding
• Communicates clearly and builds positive relationships
• Is creative, adaptable, and solution-focused
• Is committed to inclusive education and pupil wellbeing
