Exeter SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary School Support
Location:
Exeter | Employment:
Full-time, Term Time Only | Salary: £85-£95 per day
A welcoming primary school in Exeter is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 and group support to children with a range of additional needs including autism, ADHD and speech & language delays.
Responsibilities- Supporting pupils with EHCPs in class and during transitions
- Adapting lesson content under teacher guidance
- Assisting with communication strategies and social skill development
- Monitoring and reporting pupil progress and behaviour
- Providing a calm and positive learning environment
- Previous SEN experience (formal or informal)
- Patient, calm, and positive attitude
- Clear communicator with a team-first mindset
- DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
