We invite you to join us as a Specialist Psychiatrist at The Cedars, a new role working alongside a consultant nurse approved clinician (MPAC) or consultant psychiatrist and a cohesive MDT to provide senior medical input to this purpose built 17 bedded ward situated in Exeter.

This includes regular supervisions with the line manager, educational supervisor and the portfolio pathway lead. The trust will fund the first application while submitting the portfolio.

The post holder will provide the senior medical leadership within an acute psychiatric ward in Exeter.
They will be available 9‑5 Monday to Friday and will be based in Wonford House, Exeter, Devon.
The post holder will work within MDT and offer assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients on The Cedars inpatient psychiatric service, as well as other expert clinical services in support of patients and their families/carers as judged necessary.
This is a fixed term post for 12 months with the possibility of renewal.
