Rotating shift pattern, Monday - Friday

Week 1: 07:00 - 15:30 | Week 2: 09:30 - 18:00
1 in 4 Saturdays: 08:00 - 13:00

Temporary with view to go permanent

Earning Potential (OTE)

Hourly Rate: £18.04 per hour

Basic Salary Equivalent: £37,523 per year (based on 40‑hour week)

We're looking for a confident and organized Service Advisor to join a busy commercial vehicle dealership in Exeter. This is a temp‑to‑perm role offering a rotating shift pattern and a professional working environment. You'll be the face of the operation, greeting customers, managing job cards, and keeping workflow on track. Strong communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative are essential.

• Meet and greet all customers on arrival in a professional and friendly manner.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate workshop workload efficiently.
• Create and process job cards, checking for existing work in progress.
• Check account details, available credit, and obtain relevant authorisations.
• Provide timely updates to customers throughout the repair process.
• Agree timescales for unscheduled work and follow through to completion.
• Manage day‑to‑day administrative tasks confidently and accurately.

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor is highly advantageous.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Ability to use initiative and work comfortably as an individual.
• Organized, professional, and customer‑focused approach.
• Basic computer literacy and administrative competence.
