£35,000 Base + Uncapped Commission + Additional bonus for new active accounts

A growing, UK Solar distribution business is hiring a commercially driven Business Development Executive to play a critical role in its next phase of growth. The right person will directly influence customer acquisition, repeat revenue and long-term commercial structure.

As one of the first commercial hires, you’ll have real influence, meaningful autonomy, and the chance to build something from the ground up — with strong long‑term progression as the business grows.

The Opportunity

This is a high‑impact, new‑business‑focused role within a scaling environment.

You will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and securing new B2B solar customers
  • Building pipeline from scratch through proactive outreach
  • Converting first orders into repeat, long‑term accounts
  • Managing pricing and commercial conversations
  • Protecting margin while driving revenue
  • Helping shape structure, process and sales cadence as the business grows
