PNC Warrants Clerk
Salary: £25,713 rising to £26,703 per annum + Excellent Benefits including Government Pension
Hours per week: This role is 32 hours per week.
About the role:
Want a role where your work actually makes a difference? We are looking for a Warrants PNC Clerk to join Devon and Cornwall Police and help keep Criminal Justice System processes running smoothly. This is a part time post based in Exeter working 4 days a week.
What you will be doing
You will be part of a small team making sure key police data and warrant information is accurate, up-to-date and shared with the right people at the right time. Expect a mix of admin, research and communication.
Day to day you will:
- Input and maintain information on police systems
- Review and update warrant and Police National Computer (PNC) records
- Carry out research using police and national systems
- Communicate with police teams and partner agencies including Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) and His Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals Service (HMCTS)
- Respond to enquiries and provide guidance within your role
- Help make sure deadlines and service level agreements are met.
