Management Accountant - Exeter - Circa £50,000

A fast-growing Exeter manufacturing business is looking for a hands‑on Management Accountant to strengthen its finance function and support continued expansion. This is a small, practical, and ambitious team where you’ll work across all areas of accounts and management accounting, helping build better systems and improve processes as the company scales.

• Producing monthly management accounts, reporting packs, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Leading budgeting, forecasting, and accounting analysis for operational teams
• Carrying out variance analysis and providing clear financial insight to support decisions
• Developing and improving accounting systems and processes (Sage 200)
• Supporting the wider group with project work and growth initiatives

• MUST have manufacturing experience
• CIMA qualified/part-qualified; QBE considered
• Strong, hands‑on accounting skills with the ability to “roll your sleeves up”
• Confident working in a small team with exposure to all areas of accounts
• Proactive mindset and keen to contribute ideas for future improvement
• Ambitious, with genuine career progression available across the group
