Rural Senior Accountant

Overview

A highly successful and growing accountancy practice based in Exeter is looking to recruit a Rural Senior Accountant into their team. The firm provides support, career progression and technical development with increasing client contact and you will be focused working on farming and other rural related sector clients.

• Join the team as a Rural Senior Accountant and undertake a varied role across year end accounts preparation, tax compliance, planning and wider service involvement as you develop within this firm and role.
• Act primarily for agricultural sector clients and other associated rural related sector clients across landed estates, holiday lets, property, retail and other clients.

• You may be AAT qualified and/or you could be pursuing and studying for ACCA/ACA qualifications, or have developed your career entirely through experience to date.
• You will have a background working within the accountancy practice sector for an accounting firm of any size.
• You will have anything from two to three years of experience to date, or considerably more, preparing year end accounts, tax etc.
• You may have direct, recent expertise in agricultural sector accounting providing accounts/tax services or have worked across wider ranging industry sectors but bring a genuine interest in developing a career within this client sector.
• You will be looking for a role where you can progress and will be able to demonstrate the drive to add value and progress in this leading firm.
