Duties and Responsibilities
* Run large projects in a Foreman capacity
* Proper reading of job plans and specifications, installation manuals, and shop drawings
* Completes assigned projects with quality workmanship
* Cut, assemble, and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure (e.g. electrical wiring)
* Rough and finish plumbing work
* Boiler installation and repair
* Gas piping installation, testing, and repair
* Ensure the enforcement of all company policies, rules, regulations, and safety
* On-going trade knowledge
* Travels as necessary in the performance of duties and attends onsite project meetings as required
* Works additional hours as required to complete the job
* Communication with all persons that may be affected by the project is key!
Experience
* Must have the ability to run large projects and multiple crews
* 4-6 years prior experience in plumbing/piping installation
* Knowledge of plumbing mechanical drawings and specifications.
* Ability to schedule and manage personnel assigned and materials needed.
* Detail-oriented
