Overview
Landscape Technician - Full Time River Woods Exeter is hiring for an experienced Landscape Technician to join our team. The Landscape Technician is responsible for the care, safety and appearance of the grounds, and associated equipment and vehicles. This is a Full Time M-F benefits eligible position.
Responsibilities- Provides quality customer service with a positive attitude and commitment to teamwork while meeting the needs of residents, staff and visitors.
- A reliable, hardworking staff member with a willingness and desire to learn and the ability to follow directions who is respectful and helpful to others.
- Works unsupervised, either alone or with others, and makes responsible decisions when needed.
- Communicates effectively and keeps a variety of tasks organized and delivered on time.
- Performs basic and advanced gardening skills including weeding, mulching, edging, planting and pruning.
- Safely operates mowers and landscape equipment such as utility vehicles and motorized snow removal equipment.
- Performs basic grounds care including cleanliness and sweeping.
- Performs turf maintenance including mowing, trimming and leaf management.
- Completes uncomplicated work orders independently.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid driver’s license
- 3 years of previous Landscape and Snow Removal (plowing) experience
- Ability to obtain a DOT medical card
- Ability to operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle
- Ability to operate large equipment including dump truck, loader, tractor, plow equipment, and trailers preferred
- Green Snow Pro Certification a plus
- Horticulture training or certification a plus
