- High school graduate or equivalent
- 3‑5 years of experience in housekeeping or related field
- Valid driver’s license
- Coordinate the shift work of the housekeeping team, assigning staff as appropriate and scheduling staff for on‑call weekends; step in if needed.
- Carry beeper and IP phone to take calls/requests and reassign tasks as required by situation, logging all calls.
- Coordinate and perform floor‑care techniques, including vacuuming, dry and damp mopping, and buffing.
- Operate floor‑care equipment, perform preventive maintenance on equipment, and train staff on the use of equipment.
- Use cleaning chemicals and understand the appropriate use of each type of chemical.
- Complete rounds during shift, documenting needs for cleaning/floor care/project work and/or reassigning work based on findings.
- Perform cleaning of all areas as required, handling general removal of infectious materials and sharps removal, confidential waste, and using the appropriate protocol.
- Replenish supplies/inventories and maintain clean, orderly equipment room.
- Provide on‑the‑job training for new employees.
- Report all aesthetic issues to manager and report damaged/broken equipment using LOTO as required.
