Position: Program Assistant - Finance

Location: Hybrid - 1 day/week required in the office in Exeter, NH

FTE: 60% (24 hours per week)

We have an immediate opening to support the Finance team. Strong communication, tech skills, and data entry experience are required.

• Process Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) transactions as required.
• Maintain and update shared documentation to ensure accurate and timely financial tracking.
• Generate financial reports upon request.
• Conduct necessary professional phone communications to support financial operations.
• Prepare and furnish essential financial documentation to the Business Administrator, CEO, Trustees, and external auditors.
• Perform other finance related duties as assigned by VLACS.

• Experience with Google sheets, Excel & Word required
• Accounting experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication and time management skills
• Acute attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while communicating regularly and effectively within a larger team

• Salary based on experience, starting at $22/hour.
• Paid Time Off prorated based on start date
