KFC Restaurant General Manager

Position Overview

Restaurant General Manager for KFC restaurants, part of KBP Foods (KBP Brands), a leading franchisee with over 800 locations nationwide.

As the Restaurant General Manager, you will lead a team, implement strategies, manage profitability and ensure exceptional guest experiences.

• Control profitability by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining property inventory levels, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions.
• Recruit, interview and hire team members, shift managers and assistant general managers.
• Coach and train all employees in operational excellence.
• Complete inventory counts every other week.
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness and deliver a quality product with friendly service.

• Compensation commensurate with skill and experience; starting ranges vary by state (e.g., MD $53k-$58k, NY $55k-$60k, NYC $65k-$70k, Cincinnati OH $54k-$58k).
• Bonus Program based on restaurant performance.

• Minimum 1 year experience as General Manager in food service or retail environment with profit & loss responsibility, preferably in a quick‑serve restaurant.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week.
• Ability to lift, carry, stack, push or pull heavy objects and maneuver safely in compact spaces.
