Overview

Flack Memorial Church is currently seeking candidates who are interested in serving in a Lead Pastor position. This is a part-time position. We are a suburban church located northeast of Kansas City, Missouri. We are looking for someone to lead our church congregation, to preach unwavering Biblical truths and minister to the Body so it can grow and go out into the Mission Field.

Flack Memorial Church

The Lead Pastor shall shepherd the flock of God by faithfully teaching the Word of God, leading by example (elder), guarding the flock from deceitful error, and equipping the flock for the work of service to the Body of Christ.

• Pastoral leadership:
  Spiritual leader:
  Provide visionary and spiritual leadership, guiding the congregation in understanding and embracing Biblical principles.
• Teaching and preaching:
  Prepare and deliver sermons, lead Bible studies and Communion, teach the Bible to the congregation.
• Vision casting:
  Work with church leadership to develop plans and programs for the church’s growth and forward momentum.
• Church administration and operations:
  Administrative oversight:
  Oversee the general administration of the church, including coordinating programs and working with committees and/or elders.
• Church administration and operations:
  Staff management:
  Supervise any church staff or volunteers as needed.

  Financial understanding:
  Understand how church finances should be managed.
• Pastoral care and community engagement:
  Counseling and care:
  Provide Biblical counseling, spiritual guidance, and support to church members, including hospital and home visits.

  Officiate at weddings, funerals, baptisms.

  Outreach:
  Participate in evangelism, visitation, and other outreach efforts to the community.

• Personal and spiritual growth:
  Maintain a strong personal prayer life and be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

  Adhere to the Biblical standards for ministerial leadership.
