Overview
Position: Benefits Specialist
Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 annually
Employment Type: Full-Time, exempt
Reports To: Human Resource Director

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Benefits Specialist to join our Amazing Agency. This role is responsible for administering employee benefits, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional employee support. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and experienced in benefits administration.
What We Need- Oversee benefits administration for all employee benefit offerings including health, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k, and other voluntary benefits
- Oversee the administration of all leaves of absence (LOA), FMLA, ADA processes including compliance
- Manage the open enrollment process
- Reconcile benefit invoices, complete audits, and reports as needed
- Manage communication strategies to education employees about benefit offerings and changes
- Conduct training on all Agency benefit and leave programs
- Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated benefits related inquiries and issues
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- 5+ years Human Resource experience required
- Employee Benefits and Leaves experience required
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent computer skills, including Google and MS Office Suites
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Self-starter that is eager to learn
- Excellent customer service skills
