Apply for the Hospital Wellness Mentor at Collaborative Support Programs of NJ. CSPNJ, a mental health nonprofit agency, has a part‑time Hospital Wellness Mentor opening on the grounds of Trenton Psychiatric Hospital. The Wellness Mentor delivers individual and group peer support, socialization, and recreational activities at the wellness center and works under the supervision of the center hospital manager, coordinating with hospital staff as needed and assisting with community relations and related activities.

Schedule
:
Tuesday & Thursday: 5 pm‑9 pm, Wednesday: 10 am‑4 pm (14 hrs per week). NJESL Eligible.

Hourly Rate
: $19.23.

• Associate’s degree with at least 1 year experience working in the mental health field OR high school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of work experience in the mental health field.
• Experience with inpatient hospitalization.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of wellness, the mental health system and community resources.
• Ability to make and maintain contacts and positive relationships with individuals who receive or have received mental health and/or substance abuse services.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Willingness to disclose current or prior use of mental health and/or addiction services and speak openly on aspects of their individual recovery.
• Ability to work with individuals with mental illness in a caring and professional manner.
• Valid NJ Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
