Staff Engineer in Flight Sciences

Support ongoing projects in aerodynamics, aeroelasticity, and flight vehicle analysis.

Modeling of flight vehicle aeromechanics, support of flight simulation, and method development for analysis of air vehicles in complex flow environments.

Minimum Requirements:

  • PhD in a related field, preferably including independent research or work experience performed in this area, though a MS/MEng and sufficient experience may be considered.
  • Computer programming experience, numerical methods development and/or interface development in legacy and modern programming languages (e.g. FORTRAN, C, and C++) is required.
  • Experience developing software for High Performance Computing environments, GPUs, or real-time applications is desirable.
