About THIS OPPORTUNITY:
As a Carpenter Helper, you will assist experienced carpenters on interior finishing projects for high-rise condo repiping and renovations. Your primary focus is supporting the team, keeping the job site safe and organized, and learning carpentry sills. This position offers hands-on experience, meaningful work, and long-term career growth - ideal for an early-career professional committed to learning the trade.
The Carpenter Helper role requires the demonstrated ability to work carefully, communicate effectively, follow safety protocols, and maintain a professional appearance. This role is intended to be a full-time hourly position, based at the job site, reports to the Project Lead, and works closely with the rest of the onsite team.
Key

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist carpenters with measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing wood and other materials
Lift and move materials as needed by carpentry team (50-100 lbs regularly)
Help maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites
Perform demo and removal of old materials as directed
Take out trash and perform general site support

Key Requirements:

1-3 years of carpentry experience (finish carpentry preferred; rough or punch-out also considered)
Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
Able to lift 50-100 lbs regularly
Own basic carpentry hand tools
18+ years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
Pass background check and drug screening
Reliable transportation to job sites
Must already reside in the state of Hawaii

Salary Range: $20 - $30 per hour based upon experience and qualifications
