Job DescriptionCMA externship position. Practice specialty:
Family. Hours of operation:
Monday - Thursdays 8am-5pm Saturdays 8am-1:30pm.
Job Description:
Provide support with both clinical and administrative duties in a busy family practice clinic.
Job Duties:
- Prep patient(s) EMR charts.
- Take and record patient vital readings.
- Assist provider with EMR chart notes, follow provider orders.
- Assist with in house procedures (EKG, Ear irrigation, shots, Hemoglobin A1C).
- Answer phones.
- Schedule appointments, take messages, call in/e prescribe medications to pharmacy.
- Clinical and admin experience preferred, but willing to train.
- Verbal and oral communication.
- Team player, friendly.
- No covid vaccine is necessary.
