Position OverviewA well established, Hawaii based owner‑developer-operator real estate company is seeking a seasoned Director of Sales to provide strategic leadership across residential and master‑planned community developments. This role works closely with executive leadership to evaluate product feasibility, guide sales and pricing strategy, and ensure alignment between development plans and market demand. The position blends real estate development insight with sales leadership and requires strong judgment, analytical ability, and experience operating at the executive level within complex, long-term projects.
Responsibilities- Serve as a senior advisor to executive leadership on sales strategy, pricing, and product positioning
- Evaluate development parcels and proposed product types for market and financial feasibility
- Prepare market assessments, revenue projections, and pricing recommendations
- Oversee and support day to day sales operations in partnership with the Principal Broker
- Act as a liaison between sales, development, marketing, and legal teams
- Review and assist with real estate sales documentation, including purchase agreements, disclosures, and governing documents
- Provide input on model design, floor plans, and sales office concepts
- Prepare sales reports and broker price opinions as needed
- Address escalated sales related or homeowner issues with professionalism and discretion
- Real estate development and sales strategy expertise
- Strong financial and market analysis capabilities
- Ability to evaluate and position residential product for defined buyer profiles
- Executive level communication and stakeholder management
- Deep understanding of sales documentation and transaction processes
- Highly organized, detail oriented, and proactive leadership style
- Comfortable operating in a hands on, in office environment
- 15+ years of experience in real estate development, acquisitions, or related fields
- Background spanning both development and sales environments
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); comfort reviewing marketing and design materials
- Experience with luxury residential or master‑planned community projects preferred
