The Opportunity

We are seeking an organised, proactive, and detail-driven Events & Marketing Coordinator to support internal and external marketing activities. This role combines event coordination, marketing support, digital content management, and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities

Internal Communications & Intranet

  • Maintain and update the company intranet with accurate and current assets.
  • Coordinate internal communications, including announcements, updates, and newsletters.
  • Assist in maintaining consistent tone, clarity, and brand messaging across all internal channels.

Website & Digital Marketing

  • Support the creation, upload, and updating of website content, ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and SEO alignment.
  • Assist with email marketing campaigns, including drafting content, building templates, and monitoring results.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.

Copywriting & Content Support

  • Draft and proofread marketing copy for web, emails, newsletters, brochures, and presentations.
  • Ensure all content reflects brand tone of voice and messaging guidelines.

Events Coordination

  • Assist in planning and delivering events, exhibitions, trade shows, and corporate activities.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including venues, schedules, catering, suppliers, and travel.
  • Support in designing exhibition stands, branding, signage, and printed materials.
  • Prepare event packs, coordinate merchandise, and manage on-the-day event delivery.
  • Build relationships with external suppliers such as venues, agencies, printers, designers, and event organisers.

Analytics & Performance Measurement

  • Monitor website, intranet, email campaigns, and internal communications engagement.
  • Support reporting on campaign and event performance, providing actionable insights.

Project & Administrative Support

  • Maintain content calendars, project timelines, and asset libraries.
  • Support marketing team with scheduling, organisation, and general administration.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Experience in marketing, communications, or event coordination.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written communication and copywriting ability.
  • Experience updating websites and digital content management systems.
  • Understanding of SEO and email marketing platforms (Mailchimp).
  • Ability to track, report, and analyse campaign and event performance.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Confident in liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to own car.
  • Event design or exhibition stand experience.
  • Graphic design knowledge (Canva, Adobe Suite).
  • Familiarity with analytics tools for website, email, and social performance.
  • Experience with in food, agriculture, wholesale, or B2B sectors.
