FLT & Warehouse Operative (Temp - Immediate Start)

Location: Evesham
Pay Rate: £14 to £14.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
Contract: Temporary - 6 to 8 weeks (with potential to become longer term)
Start Date: ASAP

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business in Evesham for an FLT & Warehouse Operative to support operations on a temporary basis. This is a hands‑on role offering a mix of forklift driving, warehouse duties, basic assembly work and occasional customer interaction
.

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to move, palletise and rack materials
• Washing and handling 1000L IBCs following trials
• Palletising and racking flour and other materials
• Clearing scrap electrical and mechanical items
• Cleaning road units and racking IBCs to clear factory floors
• Supporting deep cleaning of production and liquid addition systems (some basic mechanical disassembly required)
• General factory housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Assisting with basic mechanical assembly
  , including:
  • Fitting ducting
  • Re-piping external vibrators
  • Checking frame bolt torque
  • Mounting controllers
• Supporting factory assembly work when test plant duties are complete
• Occasionally engaging with customers
  , providing a professional and friendly point of contact when required

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (in date - certificate required)
• Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, assembly or engineering environment
• Semi-skilled mechanical or assembly experience highly desirable
• Confident, presentable and comfortable in a customer-facing capacity when required
• Reliable, flexible and happy to support a variety of tasks
