The Role
As a Property Surveyor, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a customer-focused responsive repairs service, ensuring homes are maintained to a high standard, safe, and compliant with legislation. You will manage inspections, surveys, and reporting, while working closely with contractors, internal teams, and tenants.

* Support the management of disrepair cases and projects, ensuring compliance with policies and customer satisfaction.
* Conduct Stock Condition Surveys (SCSs), HHSRS surveys, and Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) in communal areas.
* Diagnose damp and mould hazards promptly, categorising according to legal definitions and ensuring compliance with Awaab’s Law (investigation, reporting within 3 days, tenant communication, and escalation where temporary accommodation is needed).
* Prepare void schedules to support internal teams.
* Assist with aids and adaptations projects, liaising with occupational therapists, monitoring grants, and providing technical inspections.
* Ensure contractor compliance with health & safety, statutory requirements, and organisational standards.
* Maintain accurate records and reports demonstrating compliance with all statutory obligations.
About You
* Professional surveying qualification (RICS) or equivalent experience.
* Proven experience in property surveying, inspections, reporting, and contract/maintenance management.
* Knowledge of housing legislation, health & safety (including CDM regulations), SCSs, HHSRS, Section 20, and fire risk assessments.
* Experience working with housing associations, local authorities, or large estates preferred.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for site visits.
Benefits
* Flexible working arrangements.
* Holiday buying/selling scheme and paid leave for birthdays/annual celebrations.
* 2 days paid leave to support house moves after probation.
* Life assurance and health cash plan covering dental, physiotherapy, consultations, and 24-hour helpline.
* Company contribution to mindfulness and fitness programmes.
* Online retail, supermarket, cinema, insurance, and holiday discounts.
* Funded training and sponsored qualifications.
* 2 days paid volunteering leave per year.
