AboutThe Role
Financial Service Representatives are one of the primary points of contact for SCU members. They are responsible for creating an exceptional member experience by engaging with members who walk into the branch, over the phone, and through outbound calling efforts. During conversations, Financial Service Representatives educate members on the products and services SCU has to offer and resolve any questions or issues that arise.

- Identify, educate, present, and cross‑sell SCU products and services to new and existing members in accordance with SCU’s member engagement model.
- Meet individual sales and operational goals as well as assist the branch team in achieving branch goals.
- Maintain cross‑functional capabilities; process financial transitions for members including opening and closing of accounts, input, review, negotiate, and close member loan application requests. Process deposits and withdrawals from accounts. Perform teller duties as needed.
- Daily open and close teller terminal, account for cash assigned, received, and disbursed; accurately balance to teller terminal close report and remit daily work to appropriate supervisor for disposition.
- Perform required OFAC screens as outlined in the Non‑Member Verafin Processing policy and report any positive matches to the BSA Group. Comply with BSA requirements of completing CTR and SAR.
- Foster and maintain relationships with members; provide prompt, professional, helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous member service. Investigate member concernsատես, research, and recommend a resolution. Ensure we are meeting expectations with member service satisfaction results.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one year of customer service experience.
- Personal computer experience, including Microsoft Office products.
- Energized by creating meaningful connections and delivering strategic solutions.
- Focus under pressure and prioritize precision in work.
- Take initiative, own projects, and consistently aim for high‑quality results.
