Overview
Pilot (First Officer) - West Region at Net Jets
Net Jets is the global private aviation leader, providing safety-focused air transportation and concierge service. This position is for a Pilot (First Officer) in the West Region who will operate flights in alignment with FAA guidelines and Net Jets policies, delivering safe transportation and a high level of service to Owners and passengers.
Responsibilities- Safely operate the aircraft from taxi, take-off, to landing per FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, Net Jets Flight Operations Manual, Aircraft Operating Manual, and SOPs.
- Greet Owners/passengers, provide weather updates, safety briefings, and communicate any changes to the itinerary.
- Provide in-flight service as needed, including handling of alcohol and catering.
- Load and stow baggage as required.
- Conduct flights for Owners with pets or those who smoke when applicable.
- Act as final authority on the aircraft, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory guidance.
- Serve as liaison for Owners/passengers and Net Jets from arrival at the FBO through arrival at final destination.
- Report maintenance abnormalities to the Maintenance Control Center and complete related paperwork.
- Other duties as assigned depending on assignment.
- Education:
High School - Certifications and Licenses: FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) and First Class Medical Certificate
- Experience:
Not Specified - Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs): FAA ATP, Restricted ATP, or meet ATP/R-ATP requirements with multi-engine rating
- Important technical requirements include: 1,500 hours total flight time (or equivalent paths), 200 hours cross-country, 250 hours PIC, 100 hours night or 75 hours night with 45 night takeoffs/landings, 75 hours instrument time, ATP written prior to Indoctrination Training, 50 hours fixed-wing multi-engine time, current FAA First-Class Medical, FCC Restricted Radio Operator’s Permit, valid passport, ability to work varying hours including day/night, ability to travel, and ability to read/write/speak English fluently.
- Physical and service requirements: neat, well-groomed appearance; strong passenger interaction skills; ability to make quick and accurate decisions under pressure; ability to move objects up to specified weights; ability to work around animals and conduct flights for Owners who smoke.

Base Salary Range: $86,015 – $117,706
