The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Software Developer to join the team in Everett, WA
. The role will be part of the computing team in Boeing Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) Product Design-Engineering organization, developing, maintaining and integrating software applications and system tools supporting the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) and Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Engineering organizations in Everett, WA. Software will run on Unix, Linux, Windows and on internal and external cloud platforms.

The primary responsibility is to develop software for Analysis and Simulation teams within the Enterprise Mechanical Structures Engineering and Payloads portfolio, supporting core engineering design applications for airplane design and development. You will collaborate with a SAFe Agile team and maintain continuous interaction with business stakeholders.

• Work with Technical Lead/Architect, Peer Developers and Business Subject Matter Experts to design and develop systems and applications to meet highly complex business needs.
• Work with Product Owners/Pod Leads to understand business needs.
• Work with SME/Business focals to define application requirements.
• Design, code, test, implement, deploy, document and maintain/sustain software applications.
• Application development in multiple programming languages such as Python, Django, C#/C-Sharp, .NET, Java, C, and C++.
• Work in Web/HTML technologies (JavaScript, jQuery, REACT, Angular, HTML5, REST, microservices).
• Employ CI/CD Dev Sec Ops  processes with ADO and/or Gitlab and deploy applications on-premises and on cloud environments like AWS, Azure, Tanzu cloud, Open Shift etc.
• Engage in Pair Programming, conduct peer reviews.
• Work as part of Agile teams using Scaled Agile Framework.
• Utilize strong computing and communication skills.

• 6+ years of experience with Dev Ops practices.
• 5+ years of experience with application development in one or more programming languages such as C#/C-Sharp, .NET, C, C++, Java, Python, R, SQL, Pro
  * C/C++, Perl, Shell Scripting, and Web/HTML technologies (JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, web services, REST, microservices etc.).
• 5+ years of experience in a dedicated Software Developer role.
• 5+ years of experience working with agile teams and agile software development.
• 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience.
• 10+ years of experience in a dedicated Software Developer role.
• 10+ years of experience with database design, development of queries in Oracle/SQL Server/MySQL.
• 10+ years of experience in Application development in one or more programming languages such as C#/C-Sharp, .NET, C, C++, Java, Python, R, SQL, Pro
  * C/C++, Perl, Shell Scripting, and Web/HTML technologies.
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) software development.
