As a Security Officer - Unarmed Government Patrol in Everett, WA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. You will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while your customer service and communication skills will help address the needs of all visitors and staff.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $25.11 / Hour

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Assist visitors and employees with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
• Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift, adapting to changes in the environment and responding to requests as directed by site leadership.

• CPR and First Aid are preferred.
• X Ray screening experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
