Alta DC is seeking a motivated Residential Remodeling Sales Consultant to generate new business, meet with homeowners, and guide clients through the early phases of residential remodeling projects. This role owns the sales process from first contact to signed agreement. While you won't be responsible for producing estimates, your construction knowledge is critical to capturing scope accurately and setting realistic expectations.
This position is ideal for a confident communicator with a passion for home improvement and a process-driven sales approach.

Key Responsibilities- Lead Generation & Follow-Up
- Generate leads via networking, referrals, and outreach
- Follow up on company-provided leads promptly and persistently
- Qualify prospects for budget, timeline, and scope fit
- Client Meetings & Discovery
- Meet with homeowners to understand goals, priorities, and constraints
- Identify existing conditions that may affect project feasibility or cost
- Ask construction-informed questions and take detailed notes, measurements, and photos
- Gather complete and accurate information for the estimator
- Communicate project intent, red flags, and assumptions
- Coordinate clarification needs between the client and estimator
- Present proposals with clarity and professionalism
- Guide clients through decisions and close the sale
- Secure signed agreements and required deposits
- CRM & Internal Communication
- Document all sales activity and client interactions in Hub Spot
- Maintain clear communication with estimating and production teams
- Attend regular sales and team meetings
- Required
- Proven sales experience with strong closing skills
- Working understanding of residential construction and remodeling
- Ability to identify scope-related risks without pricing the work
- Organized, disciplined, and comfortable discussing budget and timelines
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Preferred
- Sales experience in the construction or home improvement industry
- Familiarity with Hub Spot or similar CRM
- Field experience or hands‑on construction background
