Base pay range: $22.00/hr - $24.00/hr

Flynn Panera is a Panera Bread franchisee. Flynn Panera operates with a decentralized business model where each geographic area is led by a Market Leader. Reporting to the Market Leader are Area Directors, General Managers, Assistant Managers, and Team Managers who help manage store operations.

Our Panera Bread cafes are upscale, friendly environments offering baked breads, pastries, soups, salads, sandwiches, and specialty espresso beverages. We emphasize a grease- and alcohol-free environment for our associates with no fryers and no late nights. As a manager, you are expected to be a morning person.

Managers supervise up to 75 staff members to ensure a top-quality service experience for our guests.

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, food quality and safety, and facility management.

• Recruit, train, and motivate staff; ensure proper training and competency in all aspects of food service and customer support.
• Ensure objectives are achieved while operating within company guidelines and ethical business practices.
• Exhibit a professional image and promote the company values.

Restaurant management involves strategic planning, shift organization, and day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment.

Typical work activities for a Team Manager:

• Serve as a role model and lead the team.
• Ensure team members provide great customer service.
• Take ownership of the restaurant’s business performance.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following safety and sanitation standards.
• Open, mid, and closing shifts to ensure a consistent customer experience.
• Coordinate the operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts.
• Greet customers and conduct table visits to ensure satisfaction.
• Recruit, train, and motivate staff.
• Assist bakery-cafe specialists in training and competency across food service and customer support.
• Ensure objectives are achieved within company guidelines and values.

• At least 1-2 years of hospitality experience.
• Food Management Certifications are a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and a professional work ethic.
• Excellent organization, customer service, and time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and with a diverse team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
