Senior Quality Specialist

This position requires thorough knowledge of Metrology, GD&T, MBD and the logical implementation/application of each to enable Jamco America to not only thrive in the current model-based manufacturing environment, but to be a part of the industry transition to full digital utilization and compliance.

• Ability to use inspection tools such as calipers, scales, micrometer, height gauges, and flat surfaces.
• Very strong understanding of GD&T and applicable mathematics.
• Ability to program and operate various types of advanced metrology equipment and its related software with minimal training.
• Solid background concerning the usage and care of precision metrology equipment.
• Proficient user of computer and various software such as Polyworks, Solidworks etc.
• Knowledge and understanding of AS9102/ASME Y14.5 and related industry standards.
• Must have effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to function as a strong team player.
• Display leadership qualities
