Quality Engineer- PA

The Quality Engineer provides oversight and guidance in the manufacturing operations, ensuring continuous improvement to the defined quality expectations. This position will be responsible for recommending, maintaining, and implementing quality engineering methodologies, systems and practices to meet the plant’s internal and external customer, regulatory requirements, and schedule. Serves as a quality ambassador to improve awareness, visibility, and communication on quality initiatives to support departmental, functional, and corporate quality goals and priorities.

Provides focused quality engineering support within new product development, operational, and system support. Supports implementation of continuous improvement projects in compliance with regulatory standards, and leads product/process investigations to drive for root‑cause resolution that will better serve our customers and the continued growth of the business.

• Develop inspection methods to analyze product quality
• Improve product quality by making recommendations for change
• Work together with relevant teams and departments to improve products
• Ensure products adhere to company and industry quality standards
• Brainstorm ideas to create solutions for identified problems
• Formulate a strategic plan to increase productivity in the business
• Document results and findings after inspections are carried out
• Implement a working system to ensure conformity and accuracy in the production process
• Responsible for equipment calibration and metrology, perform Gage R&R
• Create and/or update KPI metrics for the Quality department
• Lead cross‑functional RCA & CAPA activities
• Lead/perform validation activities for new product, process or equipment
• Assist in ISO‑9001 program development, training and implementation
• Work with other departments for continuous improvement
• Create and lead data collection tracking process for Quality, Safety and Production
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred
• ASQ – Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) a plus
• Extensive experience in a quality assurance environment required
• High proficiency in computer technology and systems operations
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• In‑depth understanding of industry market trends and conditions
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work efficiently in a team environment
• Excellent organization skills with ability to perform multi‑tasking
• Basic mathematical skills (sound knowledge in Statistics)
