Average Daily Census: 70 OR/IR/CVL cases per day. Anesthesiologist in house 24/7. Patient population:
Pediatric (1 yo+), adults, geriatric. Same day surgeries and in-patient admits. Type of Surgeries recovered in PACU:
Any procedure requiring Anesthetics &/or Spinal Anesthesia. (includes but not limited to) Vascular, General, robotic, orthopedic, pediatric, urology, gynecology, neuro/spine, podiatry, ophthalmology, Thoracic, trauma, cardiovascular lab, GI, Interventional Radiology, bariatric, ENT, Oral, Plastics. Level 2 Trauma Center. ASPAN standards are followed. This PACU also supports CVL that require Anesthesia;
Watchman's, TAVRs, EP cases. On occasion travelers on this unit will need to preop ICU patients. Unit has staggered starts throughout the day/night, 10 hour and 12 hour shifts. 71 beds - (2 floors) Preop/Admissions/Phase 2 Hospital Highlights Type of Facility:
